Our mission is to come alongside you in the journey of caring for your child. Babies don't come with manuals, but we want to provide you with the information and items you need to provide a learning environment that meets your needs.
Hi, my name is Kim Armitage, and I am a pediatric occupational therapist. My time working with kids is over twenty years but most importantly I am a mom of two and a nana which is super fun!! I continue to love and care for the children that receive therapy services to help them get a head start in life.
I know as a parent it is hard to know exactly what your child should be learning at each age. You then have to find a toy or activity that your child likes and one that is good for learning the skill. Who has time for that? Even shopping online can be overwhelming. Many times, and activity is only available in a container of 100 pieces! No toddler needs 100 of anything!
We have just what your child needs to keep their attention and learn new skills. They move quickly to new activities and our program moves quickly right along with them. Play IS very powerful, and we want to be a part of the fun! We will walk you through each step and you will be AMAZED at all your child will learn in just a few short months.

The Power of Play is a child development program designed for the busy family.
The Power of Play says it all. Children will learn through play activities that are designed specifically for their level of development.
An OT Box will arrive each month by mail. You will be given step by step instruction for the activities. Your child will be excited as they receive a new OT Box each month that is filled with fun things to do. They will spend more time playing and through their play, they will be learning tons of new things!
Think of it as a mini toy box but a toy box full of toys and learning activities that will meet the child's developmental needs.
Keeps kids on track developmentally!
Each month the child will receive a new set of activities designed specifically for their level of development. A list of developmental skills for each month is included.
Requires very little time and effort!
We have done the work for you. No more guessing what toy would be good for your child. We provide a list of skills each month that your child will be learning and activities have been matched accordingly by a child development specialist. We recommend 15 minutes a day with your child to complete the activities. Clean up is easy. The items are returned to the OT Box and you are done for the day…until your child wants to play more using their OT Box!
The cost is low!
The OT Box contains many activities that cover all areas of development. You will receive activities each month that will provide an opportunity to address cognitive (thinking/reasoning skills), fine motor skills (activities completed using the hands), gross motor skills, communication, personal social and adaptive/self-help skills.
For 49.99 per month with the option of automatic payments, you will have several activities to cover all areas of development delivered to your door. It will be very exciting for your child to receive mail each month.
The program is easy!
It involves interacting and playing with your child. These activities engage the thought process and will activate your child’s imagination. The OT Box can be carried by your child and will serve as a reusable stackable storage bin for the items and supplies.
Everything is provided in your OT Box!
